<p>Este bine de stiut ca berea mai sus amintita nu este o inventie moderna, o gaselnita a oamnilor din marketingul de azi. In perioana europei pagane era preparata o <a title="bere" href="/categoria/bancul-de-probe/bere">bere</a> pentru celebrarea solstitiului de iarna. Din cauza ca deja era mai frig se prefa ca berea sa contina mai mult alcool decat berea consumata vara. Mai tarziu, manastirile in care era fabricata berea au creat un anume tip de <a title="bere" href="/categoria/bancul-de-probe/bere">bere</a> pentru pelerinii prezenti la celebrarea Craciunului.[ad]<br />

Berea de iarna nu se incadreaza intr-un stil anume insa toate au o concentratie de alcool peste medie.
