3-4 weeks ago I was in "working visit" to Berestroika . If I (Slaven) previously visited the institution listed above, somewhere even in the second week running, only one left Rome convinced that a visit to the brewery would be for us at least, an act that had culturalo-professional We pay ... So, in a frosty night in January, here we are stepping down to Berestroika .
For an overview, as says Florin (head brewer of location - to understand the general manager), Berestroika is the effect of dissatisfaction, or rather, the lack of local microberarii to come up with an offer earnest and most diversified in the means beer, hop across the eternal potions (in their most lager -s) which is circulated as usual. It was a decision to look for a manufacturer of equipment for complete brasare, location, raw materials ( malt , hops, yeast), additional materials (filters, recipes , etc..) and went to work.
Effect: A local ordered to defeat not joy but to preserve their spirit and appearance, addressed an audience that knows how to evaluate dynamically while an honest beer with a food healthy.
And since we are especially dedicated beer, a few words about the products would not hurt.
Tests begin!
From left to right:
A. Black Stout
Manufacturer: ale Berestroika
Style: stout (is assessing producer)
ABV: about 7%
Colour : brown with reddish reflections, clear (transparent). Very low carbonate; foam intense (and attention is not nitro-beer!), Creamy, small pearls, go to weight and stored in liquid thin film surface. Marked if the cup lace bow.
Perfume: amazing! Malt combined with a fruity flavor, something like bitter cherry, with many sugars that give flavor and a timber, something that is often found at sites in general stout, but something more significant here.
Taste : body thick, delicious and well structured s (the feeling of the palace), medium sweet with a hint wood, ripe malt favoring different kinds (producer admits that uses several types of malt ) with many associated sugars. Finish intense, prolonged, bitter-wood. This gives stout! My opinion is that Brasseur's should be congratulated.
Two. Red Ale Berestroika
Manufacturer: ale Berestroika
Style: the (estimated producer)
ABV: about 5.5%
Color : Copper opaque (cloudy). Carbonate below average foam moderate in intensity, pass relatively quickly. Vague shades of lace on glass .
Perfume: malt sweetness with an extension into the background texture. Hops noticeably weak
Taste : medium body, slightly astringent malt texture appears in the foreground with a sweet, woody flavor interesting, nowhere to be found in any beer from us. Finish elongated, with inflections of malt rather than hops, medium suck astringent taste sensation wooden palace.
Three. Berestroika Gold
Manufacturer: ale Berestroika
Style: Pils
ABV: 4-4.5% (announces producer)
Color : straw yellow, opalescent (cloudy, as the British would say). Carbonate in the medium provides a reasonable foam that passes quickly. Vague shades of lace on glass .
Perfume: malt with a sour-fruity flavor quite pronounced.
Taste : medium body that first feeling, slightly astringent, in predominantly malt texture consistent with a wood turning. The finish is intense and elongated the period, going from a sour bitter from hops extension that brings this idea sort of freshness.
Total: attention structured body, the appearance of wittbier (but be careful, not wittbier!) And intensity of taste that saves a lot of product, making it particularly to the average family net lager , pilsener beer. Carbonate relative weaknesses were poor, or rather weak (explained as the beer lacks secondary recarbonarea before delivery, as happens with all lager bottled sites) and clarity (passable, knowing that in industrially proceed to Colder's wort to a reasonable temperature for further brasarii).

Perfect! Heard in a while the local, but I got no car to get there. Your job is but the engine seems unusual. Must try ;))
