I made beer after this recipe and came out great. Indeed it came out about 8 real, but very good. I put 2 tbsp of sugar to bottle it and got 2 very wrinkled and heavily fortified. I have not measured but is about 7-8 degrees after symptoms. Fermentation took place in the cellar at 17 degrees (Cover of the basement high).
